DESCRIPTION

Under direction, responsible for administrative functions for the Non-Invasive Imaging Departments. Lead is responsible for oversight of administrative operations for all locations where Non-Invasive Imaging services are offered. Makes operational decisions within policy. Provides information or reports to managers to be used in resource determination and allocation. Facilitates urgent changes in the department schedules and schedules procedural cases. Monitors appointment status of procedural cases and provide pertinent information to the management, charge nurses, surgeons, anesthesia providers, staff, families and others involved in scheduling. Processes and tracks various Facilities and Biomedical requests. Assists with the maintenance of employee time and attendance documentation and entry of call hours. Prepares and distributes numerous reports, daily and weekly correspondence and presentations as assigned. Assists with general office duties including answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, filing and ordering supplies. Ensures appropriate ordering of office supplies in the unit. Communicates with Telecommunications to ensure proper function of telecommunication devices in the unit. The Lead ensures adequate admin assistant staff coverage for the unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four years of relevant administrative experience in a hybrid inpatient and ambulatory cardiology Imaging department.
  • Experience scheduling in a surgical/procedural healthcare environment with variety of cases.
  • Experience precepting/training administrative teams.
  • Experience with Epic template manipulation.
  • Prior authorization experience.
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess effective time management skills as evidenced by handling higher workloads and more complex cases.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly detail-oriented, ability to identify and correct scheduling errors
  • Demonstrated positive leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated patient focused customer service skills. Excellent communication skills and team oriented individual.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations (including weekends and evenings) according to business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $63,016 - $78,384 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $30.18 - $37.54

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
