Experience as a coach or student-athlete with an intercollegiate golf program.

The Assistant Women's Golf Coach is responsible for providing assistance to the Head Coach in assigned areas of the intercollegiate Women's Golf program.

Ability to coach young talented athletes in the sport of golf; good organizational, communication and public relations skills; ability to operate a computer and internet.

Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, feel; and reach with hands and arms. Sit and talk or hear. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Close and distance vision, and peripheral vision. Driving as needed to perform job tasks.

Evaluate, scout and recruit qualified student-athletes in the sport of Women's Golf whose athletic skills make them highly competitive in the SEC and nationally, and whose academic potential makes them good candidates for a meaningful academic experience and graduation at UGA.

Assist the Head Golf Coach with the coaching of highly skilled intercollegiate golfers.

Organize and conduct practices and competitions.

Order and distribute equipment and apparel to student-athletes.

Assist in the organization of Fundraising and Promotion activities.

Other duties as assigned by the Women's Golf Head Coach.
