Program Overview
This summer, Toyota Product Planning & Strategy (PPS) will hire MBA interns for our Plano, TX headquarters. The 12-week summer internship is designed to give exposure to one of Toyota's key strategy groups. Opportunities may include, but are not limited to, work with the Pricing, Product Planning, and Advanced Product Strategy teams within PPS.
* Pricing is responsible for the development and implementation of market-based pricing strategies across Toyota and Lexus brands
* Product Planning is responsible for understanding market needs and implementing effective strategies that support current vehicles and the future product portfolio
* Advanced Product Strategy is responsible for future vehicle strategies to drive product innovation through vehicle concept planning and developing brand level product line-up strategies

As "The Guardians of the Customer Voice", Product Planning & Strategy (PPS) is responsible for enabling collaboration among various groups in North America and around the world to develop products that reflect customers' wants and needs and to build the strategies to get those products to market.

During the program you will
* Work on projects such as: future vehicle market studies, sales trend analysis, competitor analysis, buyer segmentation studies, and vehicle positioning strategies.
* Present to PPS executive leadership
* Receive one on one coaching and mentorship
* Attend an executive speaker series exclusive to MBA summer interns
* Take part in Genchi Genbutsu ("Go and see") to better understand
