Department Information

The Office of Equal Opportunity, Compliance, and Conflict Management (EOCCM) works to ensure equity, uphold compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and proactively manage conflicts within Georgia Tech. Reporting to the Vice President of EOCCM, the Sr. Clery Compliance Coordinator will play an integral role in leading Clery Act compliance efforts across the Institute and working to ensure the Institute remains Clery Act Compliant. The ideal candidate will possess 3 or more years of related experience in Clery Compliance within Higher Education.

Job Summary

The Clery Compliance Coordinator Senior collaborates with various offices throughout the Georgia Institute of Technology to ensure the Institute's compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and associated regulations.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 - Lead Clery Act compliance efforts across the Institute and works to ensure the Institute remains Clery Act Compliant.
Job Duty 2 - Develop Institutional training related to Clery Act and conducts training for key institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements (including but not limited to: Clery Act Committee, CSAs, Title IX, etc.
Job Duty 3 - Maintain a thorough knowledge of Clery Act regulations and requirements and ensures GT policies, procedures, programs, and activities are in alignment. Stays abreast on pending/final changes and other laws or regulations affecting Clery Act provisions.
Job Duty 4 - Oversee Clery Committee to ensure a regular cadence of meetings occurs and assist University departments in maintaining an accurate list of buildings and properties owned and/or controlled by the institution and/or recognized student organizations.
Job Duty 5 - Responsible for the creation, preparation, publishing, updating and distribution of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report to all students, staff, and faculty.
Job Duty 6 - Work with GTPD to ensure compliance with the daily crime and fire log requirements of Clery.
Job Duty 7 - Maintain accurate records on security awareness and crime prevention programs/presentations to include sending annual requests for crime statistics to all Campus Security Authorities at the end of each calendar year.
Job Duty 8 - Partner with various departments to help identify and maintain all Campus Security Authorities for the institution for each academic year as well as providing, facilitating, and/or training Campus Security Authorities
Job Duty 9 - Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Proposed Salary

The salary range for this position is $72,875 - $87,500 commensurate with education and experience.
