Community Director About Curry College: Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts-based institution in Milton Massachusetts. In addition to the main campus classes for adult learners are also offered at our campus at Cordage Park in historic Plymouth. Curry College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Curry College offers 25 undergraduate majors, over 70 minors and concentrations, as well as five graduate programs. The Curry College mission is to educate and graduate students prepared to engage in successful careers and active citizenship with a global perspective. Job Description: Under the direction of the Assistant Dean of Students and/or The Director of Residence Life, the Community Director is a part of a residence life and housing program that is evolving and focusing on creating a dynamic living and learning environment for our 1600 resident students. The Community Director will need to be an enthusiastic student-centered, professional who can work independently in a residential area of up to 400 residents and be part of a team of dedicated professionals that works towards creating a vibrant community across the Curry campus. Community Directors supervise and provide a leadership opportunity for 9 to 16 student resident assistants. This is a full-time, 12-month, live-on position. Essential Functions: 1.
