Description

The Flight Operations Assistant will assist the Flight Department with administrative duties related to the nightly DHL operations at CVG. These duties include communicating and clarifying company policies to crewmembers, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, identifying and resolving operational problems relating to flight crews, notifying crewmembers of random drug tests, administering system travel, update and distribute revisions to FAA, Jeppesen, and ABX manuals, and assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues; transport flight bags from ILN to CVG bi-weekly and distribute flight bags to appropriate aircraft at CVG.

Requirements:



  • Must have HSD/GED
  • Flight operations experience, pilot training or enrolled in a pilot training program
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Very good written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a group environment
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to adapt to fast paced atmosphere and changing priorities
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.


Preferred Skills:



  • Candidate who is currently enrolled in a college degree program or has completed coursework geared towards aviation operations
  • Pilots license
