Advance Practice Provider (NP/PA) - Emergency Medicine (Rotation)

Advance Practice Provider position in the Department of Emergency Medicine to provide direct health care to patients in the emergency departments of the medical center with an emphasis on urgent care level of acuity; works in collaboration with Emergency Medicine physicians in providing comprehensive emergency care to patients presenting to the emergency departments of OSUMC or East; works under the on-site supervision of a practicing licensed physician; performs services independently that are authorized and directed by supervising physician; performs health assessments, histories and physical examinations; orders diagnostic testing and interprets results; reviews amp; assesses patient medications; prescribes and evaluates drugs amp; other treatments; interprets health data variations and risk factors; performs approved indicated procedures. 50% or more of hours worked will occur during evening or weekend hours.
