Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.

The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Therapist facilitates quality, evidence-based mental health therapy groups. The Adolescent IOP Therapist is responsible for conducting group therapy sessions, maintaining accurate patient documentation in the medical record, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, working in conjunction with members of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with family members, referral sources and community partners and coordinating patients' discharge plans.

This position will facilitate the Adolescent IOP group therapy sessions, which runs three days per week from 4p-7p, specific days are open to flexibility based on applicant's preferred schedule.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment is critical.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy required.
  • Prior experience providing therapeutic interventions for the psychiatric mental health population for adolescents with behavioral health disorders, preferably in an inpatient or group setting.
  • Provisional licensure in respective field (e.g. SWC, LPCC, MFTC) required or applicant can demonstrate that the process to obtain this is underway. LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred.
  • Knowledge of group and individual therapy interventions and modalities; risk assessment and crisis/behavior management; mental health disorders and associated treatment; family counseling; discharge planning and patient case management preferred or ability to learn.
