133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Operating Room Schedule: Full Time Shift: Day shift Hours: 0700-330pm Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services, responsible for management of the daily patient flow through this department. Prepares the work schedule with the charge nurse for personnel, assigns cases to personnel, ensures that needed equipment and supplies are available and, when required, accepts a clinical assignment. Responsible for developing and promoting collaborative and collegial relationships with physicians and interdepartmental personnel as they relate to the care of the patient. Demonstrates managerial/leadership skills. Minimum Qualifications * Education o Graduate of a professional school of nursing 0 Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred o Coursework in business, public health, or health administration preferred. * Experience o Minimum of five years clinical operating room nursing experience required. o Previous supervisory and management experience required. o Must have demonstrated leadership experience. * Licensure and/or Certification o Current licensure as a professional nurse in Massachusetts required. o BLS healthcare provider. o CNOR required. * Skills o Strong clinical skills. o Effective leadership and interpersonal skills. o Ability to problem-solve and budget effectively. o Excellent customer service skills. o Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English. o Computer skills required (includes MS Word, Excel). o Ability to maintain confidential information | |
