Utilizing the nursing process in the planning and delivery of care, the Registered Nurse complies with all regulations and standard of regulatory and accrediting bodies, and maintains a safe level of knowledge and skills with technical procedures. The Breast Clinic Nurse will be responsible for: completing regular biopsychosocial assessments and care plans with patients; communicating and collaborating with multidisciplinary disease teams to ensure coordination of care for patients; providing education to patients/families regarding treatment plans, medications, advance directives, appointments and so forth; developing collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary team members and referring patients/families to other members of the care team as appropriate; documentation in accordance with program standards; participating in evaluation of program outcomes. This position will assist with chemotherapy patient teaching and coordination of services related to breast cancer diagnosis and treatment planning according to UCSD policies and procedures. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $170,485 - $170,485 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $81.65 - $81.65 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
