The Contracting Coordinator supports the NPO Contracting department's daily operations, project initiatives, system updates, special projects, and reporting and analysis. Responsible for organization, documentation, and reporting in support of key organizational initiatives as well as the coordinating of contract process within Network Provider Operation (NPO) business units (contracting, credentialing, provider data maintenance, document management) and other related departments as needed. The Contracting Coordinator also loads Single Case Agreements (SCAs) into Meditract system according to Elderplan/NPO policy and procedure, in addition to serving as resource for team administrative duties and contract projects. Performs ad hoc projects assigned by leadership team to support Elderplan strategic goals.

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university, preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
  • Understanding of healthcare industry, a plus. Experience working with technology, systems, provider and/or claims data, and generating files.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency required.
  • Preferred experience in Symplr, HealthRules Payor, and Meditract.
  • Ability to handle multiple deliverables and to meet strict reporting timeframes.
  • Ability to evaluate system set-up and files to determine whether changes are needed to process correctly.
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision.
