Requisition ID# 155945 Job Category: Maintenance / Construction / Operations Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Gas Operations Work Type: Onsite Job Location: Sacramento Department Overview The Gas Operations Non Destructive Examination (GONDE) group is an internal resource for the execution and program management of all NDE services across the Gas Ops service territory. Our regionally based team specializes in NDE services, quality control, project management and oversight specific to the needs of PG&E's Gas pipeline and station infrastructure. Position Summary This position is represented by Engineers & Scientists of California (ESC), Local 20, subject to collective bargaining. You will perform lab and field assignments and maintenance, repairs, and calibrations using a wide variety of instrumentation, assist in non-conformance investigations, and create reports. Work includes Measuring and Test Equipment set-up and calibration and data acquisition and evaluation. Conducts the safe and efficient planning, resource allocation and execution of NDE inspections across the PG&E service territory. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity. This position is subject to collectively bargained hourly wage rates. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $54.88 to $60.75. Under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement, the starting hourly rate for this position is $54.88, subject to collectively bargained wage increases. Job Responsibilities
Qualifications Minimum: An AA degree in the appropriate field of technology and two to three years experience in the classification of Engineering Technician I or equivalent education and experience with emphasis on laboratory procedures, techniques, equipment, and materials involved. Desired:
