POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of strategies identified in the Alzheimer's Association subaward to the Virginia Department of Health's BOLD action plan and to represent the Alzheimer's Association by collaborating with statewide partners to advance Virginia's dementia infrastructure through a public health approach to brain health and health equity. The Manager is responsible for delivering brain health education programs, educating healthcare providers and working closely with the Virginia Department of Health and BOLD Coalition partners to ensure the effectiveness of the statewide coalition to ensure successful completion and timely reporting related to the sub award and implementation of priority activities identified under the Healthy Brain Initiative (HBI) Road Map. JOB TITLE: Program Manager REPORTS TO: Community Executive LOCATION: Charlottesville, VA STATUS: Full Time based on 29 hours/week (Grant funded) GRADE: 105 * Funding for this position is made available through CDC's BOLD Public Health Programs to Address Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (CDC-RFA-DP23-0010) initiative. Grant-funded positions are time-limited and contingent upon sufficient funding. While the anticipated project period is 5 years, CDC will continue to award funding annually based on the availability of funds.
