Parker-Hannifin PARFLEX Division- Fort Worth

Parflex-Fort Worth manufactures multiple types of braided plastic and rubber hose and polypropylene tubing used by the air and space community, military, utility companies, farm implements and U.S. defense contractors.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative and routine maintenance tasks. They will trouble shoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Selected candidates will also be involved with equipment installations and facility maintenance.

How you'll perform the role:

  • Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines and follow 5S practices
  • Support ongoing routine maintenance and repairs for the facility, operation and process equipment including but not limited to pumps, fans, valves, motors, HVAC, electrical and electrical pneumatic relays
  • Respond to work orders through PM program and champion lockout/tagout procedures
  • Perform maintenance on all safety guards and devices including the wiring of all electrical devices to meet NEC codes
  • Test equipment performance, fabricate, weld, solder and plumb with approval from Engineering/Safety Manager
  • Maintain proper records on all machines and maintenance work
  • Track accurate inventory of machine parts and supplies, reorder as needed
  • Instruct, direct, and set up work for other maintenance personnel

Minimum Qualifications (relevant experience, education and/or training):

  • High School Diploma or GED, we recognize International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English). College or trade school preferred. Applicable technical certifications preferred.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent residency status required.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience maintaining machines in a manufacturing environment working with mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Must be able to interpret complex machine drawings and wiring diagrams, use advance shop math, utilize a variety of measuring instruments, mechanical and electrical, and have a good knowledge of mechanics and electrical wiring
  • Experience with Siemens and Red Lion Control and PLC
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing machinery operation, installation, and repair procedures using professional methods and trade practices.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to observe, trouble shoot, and prioritize interventions, independently or in collaboration as a member of a group
  • Must be flexible with work schedule, coming in on off shifts or weekends if needed.
  • Must be able to read work orders and interpret part drawings, schematics, and various blueprints
  • Must be able to write legibly, read and speak English
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing fundamentals, strong troubleshooting skills and ability to multitask preferred

Pay Range: $ 25.00 - 27.00 per hour

Bonus pay:

  • Quarterly Return on Net Assets (RONA)
  • $1000 for perfect attendance paid annually

    Schedule and Location:
  • This position is typically an 8-hour shift from 6 a.m. - 2:30p.m. Monday through Friday.
