The Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University (the Center) seeks a Program Associate to support a new, multi-year, multi-city domestic grant-funded program. The first of its kind in the world, the Center aims to advance the field of public sector innovation by marrying cutting-edge practice with world-class research to transform the culture of government, deliver exceptional results for residents, and inspire trust in public service. As a Program Associate, you will play an essential role supporting the work of multiple Innovation Teams (i-teams) in city halls around the country to build prosperous futures through climate action and advancement of racial wealth equity. You will do this by supporting training programs that teach these teams to engage residents more effectively and apply approaches such as human-centered design, crowdsourcing, and behavioral science. You are responsible for ensuring that the portfolio of cities assigned to you achieve program deliverables and outcomes. To be successful you will have strong project management skills, experience leading complex projects or initiatives in government or large organizations, and relationship and partner management skills. The Center is committed to working with communities that are focused on ending legacies of structural, entrenched racism and oppression.
