Mission Application Scrum Master

The Opportunity:

As a Scrum Master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's focused on missions that matter, supporting national security critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a seasoned Scrum Master like you to create solutions that'll protect our nation by providing analysts mission critical information.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like JIRA and Confluence, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish sprint and release planning, roadmap development, velocity and capacity planning, and manage multiple, competing priorities.

In this role, you'll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact the Intelligence Community by leading agile teams building mission applications. This is an opportunity to share your expertise in Agile development while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.

You Have:

  • 11+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing software development teams
  • Knowledge of agile task management software such as JIRA or AgileCraft
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing and deploying solutions to C2S, or with microservices, COTS integration, Elastic Search, and SecDevOps
  • Experience with Lean Agile
  • Knowledge of ICD 503 accreditation processes and requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Technology or Science field
  • Scrum Master, SAFe, or Lean Agile Certifications
  • AWS Solution Architect Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
