Associate Director Marketing Acquisition and Retention

OneMain Financial is currently looking for an experienced and customer-focused Associate Director of Marketing, to join our growing Marketing team. This is a B2B and B2B2C focused role. This position will be responsible for leading the creation and execution of full lifecycle marketing plans to drive Dealer acquisition and engagement for OneMain's fast growing new auto purchase program as well as development of customer facing point of sale collateral.

This role is highly collaborative and involves working with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, analytics, operations, and digital to develop and execute campaign strategies that deliver key metrics for the company.

In the Role:

  • Create and deploy Auto Dealer acquisition strategies partnering with sales and product teams
  • Create and deploy dealer engagement strategies that keep OneMain top of mind for dealers and promote our products to auto buyers
  • Execute marketing campaigns and test plans across all channels (mail, email, online, branch, sales) in collaboration with marketing channel and program owners, analytics, operations, and digital teams.
  • Define key audiences, develop strong messaging for different channels and ability to manage projects from inception to completion will be key to achieving success in this role.
  • Provide direction and prioritization for projects for campaign management and other support functions.
  • Provide tracking, analysis, and metric/insight reporting of journey impact - marketing creative, touch points, and campaigns across all channels.
  • Develop presentations that report on key metrics, summarize results, and provide insights to inform future test strategy.


  • Ideal candidate will have experience in the auto or auto finance industry in addition to being a seasoned marketer
  • 5-10 years of strategic marketing experience in B2B marketing along with an MBA or relevant Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to dive into the details and develop a roadmap based on strategic insights and understanding of capabilities. High level view with pragmatic roadmap execution.
  • Proven experience with campaign development, from briefs through working with creative teams and channel managers to launch
  • Experience using multiple channels to market services (digital, print, email, etc.)
  • Experience showing return on marketing investment, forecasting and budgeting
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work with all levels of management.
  • Adept in creative problem solving, with outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to juggle multiple fast paced, deadline-driven projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to create powerful storylines and presentations to gain buy-in across the organization


  • Experience with Adobe Campaign or other campaign management platforms is a plus.
