Responsibilities
- Contribute to a positive work environment and promote the vision, mission and values of BMC.
- Completes all job responsibilities in a safe manner, promotes and champions a safe and healthy work environment.
- Responsible for reconciliations of 6 GL accounts.
- Daily review, verify and reconciliation of CAT parts reporting.
- Learn and master all internal systems to review, track and reconcile all parts return transactions.
- Work with the individual team members from multiple functional disciplines to follow up on return transactions and outcomes.
- Document and ensure end-to-end closure on all accounts.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
- Performs mid-level general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors made by both internal and external personnel.
- Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Maintains financial security by adhering to internal controls.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related AP, inventory, reconciliation and/or staff accounting experience required or Associate Degree in Accounting.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office environment with emphasis on Excel Pivot Tables, Formatting and utilizing formulas.
- Strong critical thinking skills coupled with attention to detail.
- High level of personal integrity with ability to maintain, store, transmit and communicate highly confidential information.
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with executives, managers, employees, vendors and customers.
- Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple and often competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proven ability to navigate change in a productive manner, remaining open and driven by change in order to meet organizational goals and objectives.
