Position Summary

Assist Foreman by performing duties that require less skill. Duties include saw cutting, chipping, and mixing & repair patching. Clean work area and equipment, erect scaffolds, surface cleaning, caulking, coatings & membranes, and set forms for repairs. Ability to perform quick, accurate, and careful work.

Essential Job Functions



  • Ensure construction finishes are correct.
  • Assist in planning the Foreman's work schedule.
  • Saw cutting, chipping, mixing & repair patching.
  • Surface cleaning, caulking, coatings, & membranes.
  • Set forms for repair.


Job Requirements



  • OHSA 10 and Rubbing Class A
  • Knowledge of structural concrete repair (methods of application & materials)
  • Knowledge of waterproofing (methods of applications & materials)
  • Boom lift, fall protection, & confined spaces


EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Must be able to operate tools necessary for the completion of craft, i.e. blow torch, boring/sinking machinery, levels, man lift/personnel lift, mixers, power grinders, power saws, pressure/steam cleaners, vacuum cleaners, and water trucks.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, multi-limb coordination, static strength, control precision, oral comprehension, near vision, far vision, stamina, and trunk strength.

TYPICAL MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires attention to detail, dependability, integrity, cooperation, self-control, stress tolerance, initiative, persistence, concern for others, and adaptability/flexibility.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Contact with others. Wear common protective or safety equipment, i.e. safety shoes, glasses, gloves, hearing protection (if necessary), vests, and hard hats. Spend time standing. Work outdoors and exposed to weather conditions. Spend time making repetitive motions. This position requires traveling out of state.
