Legal Counsel

Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for Legal Counsel located at their HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Responsibilities:

* Researching, analyzing and interpreting proposed and existing laws, statutes and regulations

* Identifying, monitoring and addressing issues of legal risk

* Structuring, drafting, negotiating and/or approving legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies and other documents

* Representing/advocating for an organization in litigation, arbitration, mediation or other disputes with courts, government agencies or other legal authorities

Education and Experience:

* Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school

* Must be licensed and in good standing with the Michigan Bar Association

* Minimum 5+ years of experience in large corporation; in-house

*Must have legal experience inM&A, antitrust, competition, product liability, data protection and compliance

* Good understanding of economic relationships

* Automotive industry preferred

* Skilled in working cross-culturally and internationally

* First class written and verbal skills
