Team members employed in this job prior to July 1, 2020 are grandfathered under prior educational and experience requirements. Utilize independent decision-making in plan of care for therapy services provided. Conduct psychological testing and assessment for designated psychiatric patients. Provide timely professional documentation of psychological testing reports, treatment plans and progress notes. Participate in the training/teaching of students and residents. Works in conjunction with treating psychiatrist and makes appropriate referrals to other professionals or community services as needed. Actively participate in development of psychological services for the Department of Psychiatry, to include community outreach and education. Doctorate in Clinical psychology, PhD or PsyD. 1 year of Post-doctoral experience in medical setting. South Carolina License to Practice Clinical Psychology (Lawson Code LLCP).
