Overview

The Account Relations Consultant will provide support to the Independent dealers and Canon subsidiaries in the areas of order management and program management. They will provide reporting and analysis of orders and daily business using Microsoft Excel. They will also participate in projects as assigned in the areas of process improvement and new business support.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday out of Itasca, IL and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Once a quarter you will need to work 11:00 AM - 7: 00 PM CST for one week.


Responsibilities

- Responsible for executing client-driven initiatives and ensuring operational excellence to maximize client satisfaction and growth within the Wholesale and Retail sales channels.
- Position handles several aspects of dealer-account operations and requires an advanced level of knowledge including, but not limited to, the areas of Marketing Program Coordination, System Support, Order Coordination, Sales Support, Marketing Support, Product Knowledge, Business Process Improvement, Problem Solving.
- All assigned areas are performed in compliance with established processes and policies. Essential Function percentages may vary based on specific channel and area of specialization.
- Performs Operational duties in the areas of Marketing Program Coordination, System Support, Order Coordination.
- Performs Sales and Marketing Support duties in the areas of Sales Support, Marketing Support, and Product Knowledge.
- Perform Consultation duties in the areas of Business Process Improvement and Problem Solving.
- Provides specialized advice to customers in order to aid decision-making.


Qualifications

PLEASE NOTE: We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor.

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience in an order management or customer service role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, proficiency in pivot tables, formulas and V-look ups.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
