Responsibilities include:

    Designs, modifies, and evaluates electronic/electrical apparatus, components, or circuitry for use in test equipment and devices.
  • Establishes test procedures and systems for inspection of electronic/electrical and hydraulic components and systems. May confer with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
  • Oversees the development and validation of test equipment (hardware and software) from initial specification through quotation, sourcing, and launch that is provided by external suppliers.
  • Oversees and supports test systems and manufacturing data in support of ongoing manufacturing operations.
  • Leads in the root cause analysis for manufacturing defects identified by the test system and assists in the development of containment and corrective actions for these defects.
  • Develops, tests and implements test systems and manufacturing data in support of engineering change orders (ECOs) for design changes and new product launches.
  • Analyzes test equipment and test processes and procedures to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Develops and implements changes to test systems to detect system failure modes discovered from field operation of finished vehicles.
  • Supports ongoing manufacturing operations of the plant with a focus and specialization in electrical and hydraulic test systems.
  • Leads in the development of new test strategies and approaches for changes in electrical architecture on finished vehicles or vehicle subsystems.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $62,000-90,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


The qualified candidate will have:

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Mechatronics degree is highly preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience is a plus
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
