ECH: Rehabilitation Center (Full-Time, Day Shift)- Our mission is to continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ. The Assistant Vice President-Rehabilitation is responsible for the Rehabilitation, Orthopedics, and Neurosciences (RONI) service line of Loma Linda University (LLU) Medical Center, LLU Children`s Hospital, LLU East Campus, LLU Heart and Surgical Hospital, Highland Springs Medical Plaza and the LLU Murrieta Hospital. The position is responsible for the administrative, fiscal, and clinical operations of the aforementioned areas, such as the administration of operating and capital budgets over $16 million, facilities and space planning, and at least 165 full time equivalent (FTE) employees. Acts as a chair for various committees, ensures program(s) quality, ensures the completion of assessments for multiple departments, and customer/physician satisfaction. In addition, directs marketing and business development, community outreach, fundraising, research, and strategic planning. Performs other duties as needed. Bachelor`s Degree in Allied Health discipline or Nursing required. Master`s Degree preferred. Seven (7) years of experience in Healthcare Administration required. Active California license or certification in Allied Health discipline or Nursing required. Knowledge of health care law and finance. Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access); operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, rules and laws; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently; perform basic math and statistical functions; manage multiple assignments; compose written material; work well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
