Description

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates at the rank of lecturer or senior lecturer for possible temporary/non-tenure track, part-time positions to teach undergraduate courses. Positions are part-time, contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding, and are not available every semester. Assignments are usually made on a semester-by-semester basis, although sometimes a year-long appointment can be made. Positions are annually renewable, contingent on funding and performance.

Qualifications

A PhD in engineering or a related field is required, but exceptions can be made for applicants with a Master's degree and pertinent expertise and work experience. Previous teaching and/or training experience is preferred. Current teaching opportunities exist in computing, circuits, and numerical methods. Required skills: python, C and/or MATLAB.

SALARY: Dependent on position and qualifications.
