What you will be doing

The Information Technology Department has an opening for a BI Developer (Programmer Analyst). This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of projects which deliver the vision & strategy supporting Albertsons Data Governance initiatives. This position is located in Arlington, TX.

Main responsibilities

• Provide software development strategy guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of Enterprise BI technologies and tools
• Provide technical leadership and decision support to less experienced staff.
• Designs and develops highly complex technology solutions.
• Act as an expert architecture resource
• Take a leadership role and lead the design and implementation of a quality and stable solution

What we are searching for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in BI development with increasing growth and leadership responsibilities
• Strong architecture, design, and development skills.
• Strong understanding of patterns and best practices.
• Ability to mentor and guide development team members.
• Strong knowledge of web server and application server capabilities and configuration
• Experience with BI software such as Power BI
• Experience with Star Schema and Snowflake Data Modeling.
• Experience with Database Management using RDBMS, ORACLE, IBM DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake.
