Systems Engineer, Senior

As a leader in systems engineering, you'll to solve complex challenges and shape systems engineering support by leading the sustainment of operational C4I systems. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You will develop plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents. You willensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring, while broadening your skillset into areas like operating systems, protocol suites, communication, and audio or video media. This is your chance to perform technology evaluation to identify emerging technologies, determine technology maturation, analysis for risk reduction, and preferred technology selection using a structured method. You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience with systems engineering, including engineering management plan development, verification of requirements, or architectural design implementation
  • 5+ years supporting system and network environments, implementing security policies for classified systems
  • Knowledge of operational requirements evaluation and decision support systems and command and control systems
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, and procedures in the performance of standard scientific research
  • Ability to develop and follow scientific and engineering approaches and methodologies, and scientific research principles, practices, and protocols
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze issues, problems, or operational programs within enterprise level systems that are deployed in highly secure operational environments
  • Ability to design, organize, coordinate scientific and engineering projects, and plan and organize multiple work deliverables
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in conducting engineering within the science and technology industry
  • Experience with collaboration tools, workflow tools, and distributed networking
  • Knowledge of IT systems used by the planning community, military operational concepts and Military Planning and Decision-Making Process
  • Knowledge of current technological developments and trends
  • Master's degree in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance field preferred; or PhD degree in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, or Finance field a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
