Responsibilities
This role will work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, research data sources, engage with engineering to provide optimal data solutions using appropriate tools/techniques. Performs ongoing assessment and maintenance of high standards of data integrity and quality throughout department's data collection-to-reporting and analytics pipeline, as well as implementation of new technologies. Monitor and perform in-depth analysis of data with documentation to determine areas of improvement or where investigation is needed. Attention to detail is the key to this role Ability to independently drive and manage assigned projects from inception to completion in a matrixed environment Collaborate closely with Teladoc Health's ML experts, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and clinical researchers to define, analyze, and provide data that contributes to our mission of total health for our members Track milestones, activities and inter-dependencies across projects and tasks, with frequent status updates to stakeholders Participate in Agile planning around data feature requests and advocate for the best data engineering projects in priority planning
Candidate Profile
- Advanced technical skills and hands on experience in manipulating data using scripting languages in both Unix and Windows. Skills in using Python, Jupyter Notebooks, R, Shell Scripting, and Excel for Data Manipulation and analysis.
- Require extensive experience of SQL including windowing functions with least one RDBMS like Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift.
- Knowledge in Data Warehouse modeling concepts and building relational data structures, including relationships with tables, and grouping data.
- Experience in using BI tools like Tableau/Qlik/Power BI to provide data insights to stakeholders.
- Strong Experience in analyzing data that is both structured and semi structured (JSON, XML).
- Excellent communication skills, experience in presenting and effectively documenting findings to colleagues, business stakeholders and clients.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills: you are not just repeating a playbook, but are looking at a problem with fresh eyes, and digging deep for insights and solutions and problem solving using methodical and logical approach.
- Dedicated, innovative, and creative in meeting client/customer needs. Always keeping a "Can do!" attitude.
- Bachelor's required, preferably in an analytical field (computer science, business information systems). Masters is a plus.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with 3+ in a senior or lead analyst role.
- 3+ Years' experience working in data lakes and cloud platforms
- Experience in clinical or healthcare data a plus but not mandatory.
The base salary range for this position is $98,000 - $125,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU's, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
