Collection Reporting Analyst

The Collections Reporting Analyst will examine the unique needs and concerns of the business to develop relevant practices and procedures for preparing business reports including: creating and maintaining efficient systems for tracking data and producing relevant documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Examine and evaluate the purpose and content of business reports to develop new reports or improve the existing format to use and control
  • Review reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose and function of report
  • Confer with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements
  • Evaluate findings, using knowledge of workflow, operating practices, and records retention protocol
  • Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of the information
  • Prepare and issue instructions concerning the generation, completion, and distribution of reports according to new or revised practices, procedures, and policies of reports management

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of report development experience
  • Advanced proficiency using MS Access and Excel
  • Ability to: Read and interpret complex reports and documents; Assimilate and interpret various sources of data and provide and make decisions on recommendations to executive management to solve highly complex problems from start to
  • finish; Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
  • Must pass pre-employment screening

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with SQL database language preferred
