As part of a small team you'll support the development, integration, verification, validation and execution of flight software for the Lunar Permanence Program. We're looking for a systems engineer with excellent experience in control systems methodologies and/or methods for verifying and validating safety critical software. You'll be able to influence system-level aspects of the software design, ensuring that we're building a streamlined and verifiable software solution. A successful candidate has the skills to work at a system level as well as dive into technical areas to resolve issues as they arise. This role reports to the Systems Engineering Capability Section of Advanced Development Programs and directly supports the Lunar Permanence Program. Blue Origin is self-funding rapid development of multiple in-space flight systems - over a range of sizes, propellant types, and technical challenge. Our versatile spacecraft will serve a wide variety of customers and missions, starting in just three years. A hardware-rich prototyping approach allows rapid design/build iteration. On these unique programs, you will experience the full lifecycle from formulation to flight in a short time, while achieving historic milestones. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
