Faculty Part-time - Sociology

General Summary of Position:

The Department of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks a part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach one section of Race and Ethnicity starting September 6, 2023, and also to develop a pool of applicants for openings as they arise.

The ideal candidate will enhance the student's learning experience by integrating a variety of methods and strategies into the teaching process and maintaining a student learning-centered environment. Minimum Qualifications (Required):



  • M.A. degree or above in Sociology

This is a part-time, non-benefited, Union of Adjunct Faculty, Local 1596, UAW position.
