MuleSoft Architect

Classification: Exempt/Non-Bargaining
May be located at any CCI locations.

As a MuleSoft Architect at Consolidated Communications you will be part of an integration team building API solutions. You will provide technical leadership, establish and document best practices, perform operational and maintenance tasks, direct and guide developers for MuleSoft integrations.

Work with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translating these requirements to API specifications to be implemented alongside developers.

Manage and maintain the Anypoint Platform and MuleSoft runtimes.

Define API specfications and data contracts.

Manage the CI/CD pipelines used to deploy APIs through environments.

Maintain clear and concise documentation of all integrations and APIs.

Provide architectural and development best practice guidance and enforcement

Required Qualifications

MuleSoft Experience

• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect certification preferred.

• Thorough understanding of all aspects of the MuleSoft platform, including but not limited to Anypoint Studio, Design Center, Exchange, Management Center and runtimes.

• Deep knowledge and the ability to maintain MuleSoft RTF, CloudHub and Hybrid runtime environments.

• Can lead conversations on API design, system architecture, operational topics and provide technical direction.

• Must have experience in Mule 4 development.

• Experienced in RAML Design and API contracts.

Technical

• Understanding of REST and SOAP web services.

• Strong Unix skills.

• Deep understanding of JVM's and containers infrastructure and architecture.

• AWS and virtual environment experience

• GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and management.

• Postman and API testing

• Must have excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills

IT

• Understand IT project management methodologies, Agile.

• Have experience in IT systems and architecture in a large organization.

Softskills

• Must be able to communicate extremely well both orally and verbally.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.

• Be a passionate learner and technology savvy.

• Self-motivated and eager.

? Preferred Qualifications ?

• Experience with DevOps concepts and applications such as Jira, GitLab, Ansible

• Programming experience: Python, Java, Maven, Groovy, SQL, JSON, XML

• Database experience including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Elastic Search.

• Telecommunications experience a plus.

? Education and work experience:?? Shall have a minimum of eight plus (8) years of software development experience inclusive of:

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in MuleSoft software development.

• A minimum of two (2) year experience in MuleSoft architecture and design.
