Students in this position will support Health Professions Faculty in a teaching assistant role. Teaching assistants support faculty by answering student questions, giving feedback on assignments, participating in discussion boards, helping with content updates, and other projects as deemed appropriate. Teaching assistants work closely with their faculty member to decide how best to support the course, students, and faculty.

Duties/Responsibilities

Check email at least every 24-48 hours, respond promptly to students and faculty, maintain student confidentiality, work professionally with their faculty member and the students in the course, and support the faculty member with class related activities. TAs may or may not attend in person classes or synchronous online classes depending on the class and faculty preference.

Required Qualifications

* Must be a current MSU Denver Student

* Students need to have passed the course that they want to TA unless other arrangements have been made with the professor

Preferred Qualifications

High grade in the course that they desire to TA
