Introduction to the job

The mission of the job of Sr. Application Engineer is to provide state-of-art e-beam solution to our valued customers and help them to solve their core issue during yield improvement process. The goal of this role is to develop fast and reliable applications with different HMI e-beam products.

Role and responsibilities
  • Provide state-of-art e-beam solution to our valued customers and help them to solve their core issue during yield improvement process.
  • Deliver detection gap solutions to local service team to further improve tool utilization by customer.
  • Coordinate with RD team on new tool development and work with service team and marketing team closely during on-site evaluation.
  • 40% travel is required, including domestic and international.
Education and experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, material science, and other related engineering fields. Master's or PhD degree preferred.
  • At least 2 - 5 years of relevant, work related experience. Over 5 years relevant, work related experience with a BS.
  • Experience creating and providing solutions to solving issues during processes, and deliver to end users for improved tool utilization.
  • Hands on experience of semiconductor process, process flow and integration is a must.
  • Knowledge/hands-on experience with software/technical tools, such as python or Matlab.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on tool development, partnering with others during onsite evaluations.
  • Experience in SEM or inspection tool is a plus.
